“Art washes away from the soul the dust of every day life”-Pablo Picasso

I loved art as a kid. Being a child of hard-working immigrants, it was never an option as a career and so it soon fell by the wayside.

Decades later, I picked up a paintbrush again and I haven’t stopped painting since. I paint about issues close to my heart and through this I discovered a simple truth.

Art is not only a basic human need, it is a powerful tool for healing and well-being. Your first response (which is not unusual) might be “I’m not an artist” or “I’m not creative”.

It’s not true! To be human is to be an artist. Too often we focus on the end result not the process, but it is the process which is so natural to us. In fact, it’s far more unnatural for us not to create art.

I’d love to share the healing power of art with you. If you’re ready to reconnect with your creativity, take some time out for yourself and meet like-minded people, you’ve come to the right place.
